Datesheet for the conduct of PDPET Examination for untrained in-service teachers
Exam duration: 3 Hrs (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm)
CODE 521: 19.03.2019 (Tuesday)
CODE 522: 22.03.2019 (Friday)
CODE 523: 23.03.2019 (Saturday)
CODE 524: 25:03.2019 (Monday)
Evaluation
Evaluation in the 6- month Professional Development Programme for Elementary Teachers
(PDPET) in Open and Distance Learning mode has a multi-tier system comprising of the following
components:
• Self-Assessment Exercises within each unit of Study
• Continuous mainly through assignment which are (i) Tutor-Marked and Practical Assignment
and (ii) Practical Activities: School Based Activities and Workshop Based Activities
• Term-End Examination
Question Paper Pattern
Each question paper in external examination will be a balanced compendium of different forms of
questions as stated below:
The pattern and design of question paper is as follows:
1. Very short answer type questions (All compulsory)
Marks- 2 marks each
No. of ques. - 10
Total marks - 20
2. Short answer type Questions (Internal choice)
Marks- 5 marks each
No. of ques. - 07
Total marks - 35
Marks- 10 marks each
No. of ques. - 02
Total marks - 20
Total Number of Question = 19
Total Number of Questions to be attempted= 19
Total Marks = 75
Each course has two components
• Theoretical components carrying 75 marks and
• Assignment component mainly practice based related to the particular course carrying 25
marks
